Below is a list of items that are required in order for us to transport your horse. Also included is a list of recommendations before transportation.

Requirements:

  • Completed shipping contract (can be emailed)
  • Full payment upon pickup – Cash or cashier’s check ONLY. (Any personal checks will also REQUIRE a credit card)
  • Leather, breakaway, or nylon halter. Must fit the horse properly. NO rope halters.
  • Any health paperwork required for place of drop-off.
  • Horse must be willing to load – any time over 15 minutes will accrue additional charges.
  • An approximately 9-10’ lead with a snap/buckle that can be removed easily from the halter.
  • Full disclosure of any health issues that may affect the horse’s comfort or safety during transport

 

Recommendations/Allowed Items:

  • Leather or breakaway halter
  • Shipping boots or standing wraps (Note: if any boots or wraps become loose or unsafe, they will be removed and will not be put back on the horse)
  • Light sheet (MUST properly fit the horse)
  • 1 flake of the horse’s normal hay
  • Copy of current vaccination records
  • If you’re not sure, please ask prior to our arrival, we are happy to help you with any questions you may have!

Due to our requirement of two adults during each transport, the horse's owner(s) may need to be available to ride along. We strive to provide the two people, however, it may not always be possible, therefore, owners should be prepared to come with the transporter.
